It is 1972 when Maurizio and Isabella open one of the first jeans factories in Italy. In Urbania, later known as the Valley of the Jeans, Maurizio's passion for craftsmanship and beautiful jeans comes to life. In addition to making jeans for well-known brands, Maurizio decided to create his own brand and named it after the love of his life, Isabella Garcia. In the late 1970s, a Dutch buyer named Martin Kouwenberg starts buying jeans from Maurizio's factory. However, in 1985, misfortune strikes Maurizio. After much hard work and years of prosperity, one of his main customers goes bankrupt and he can no longer maintain the factory. In order not to lose his many patrons, Maurizio decides to hand them over to his loyal customer and friend from the Netherlands, who firmly promises to maintain the brand's legacy. This meeting of Italian passion and finesse with a typically Dutch entrepreneurial approach to design and business remains today the key to the fashion label with a cowboy heart.
